At Troop 892, we are dedicated to fostering leadership, confidence, and personal growth among our Scouts ages 11-17 through positive and values based activities. Our program aims to equip youth with essential skills for their future endeavors.

Fundraising And Why We Do It
At Troop 892, we firmly believe that no Youth should be denied the experience of the Great Outdoors, while learning fundamental values of being Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.
Scouting can be an expensive endeavor, and while we practice being Thrifty at not just an individual level, but as a Troop as a whole, the are unavoidable costs that are incurred. Campsite rental fees, food for campouts, equipment maintenance, replacing broken equipment, summer camp fees. This list goes on an on. And while all of our Adult Leaders volunteer significant amounts of their time, time won't pay those bills.
In an effort to help alleviate the overall cost, which can be a burden for some, we fundraise to help offset the cost to our Youth and their families. One of the many ways that we do that is through this website and our online store below. Any purchases or donations made on this website stay DIRECTLY within our Troop, and benefit the Scouts of Troop 892.
Make no mistake, our Scouts are earning their way, through multiple Fundraisers and Service Projects in our local community. No one in our Troop gets a free ride, they earn it. And the reward for hard work is the ability to go to summer camp without the worry of the financial burden it would place on their family. As well as going on canoeing trips down the Suwannee River, Whitewater Rafting on the Nantahala River, and camping in the Great Outdoors, learning Leadership Skills, Outdoor Skills, and spending quality time with other youth of strong moral character. Forging rock solid friendships with the next generation of Leaders.
